A Letter to a Young Man
1 Timothy 2:1-8

“I urge, first of all, that prayers, intercessions and thanksgiving be made for everyone...”

Jesus declared: “My Father's house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.” God willsall men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” Christ is the “one mediator between God and man, gave himself as a ransom for all.” We are urged to intercede for the salvation of every citizen of every nation.

“For kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful lives in all godliness and holiness.”

The Destiny of Nations will be detemined by our prayers, especially for their leaders. “The heart of the king is like water in the hands of the Lord” (Proverbs 21:1). When we pray, God directs leaders into righteous paths and thus preserves the peace of nations and the safety of all mankind.

“I want men everywhere to lift up holy hands in prayer, without anger or disputing.”

America is in great peril: our cities are rampant with crime, families are breaking up, our children are being destroyed by drugs, pornography and abortion. God holds Christian men responsible! If we intercede, God will heal our cities and nation! If not, He will destroy our cities.

We urge you to join with us in the Pre-dawn National Prayer Offensive—a movement of men who have made prayer for the nations of first importance. Using this prayer guide, we pray every morning from 5-7 a.m. for community-wide revival, national repentance and restoration, and for world-wide awakening.

Your initial 21-Day commitment will enable you to test the effectiveness and count the cost of early morning prayer. Men who have impacted nations have all been men who “rose before dawn and cried for help” (Psalm 119:145-147). It will take 21 days to establish the habit.

Important Guidelines:
  1. Use the guide every day for at least 30 minutes. It will broaden your prayer burden and help you set and organize your own prayer priorities.
  2. Focus on one or two items each day. Adopt one nations for each day. Study Operation World.
  3. Pray/read appropriate scriptures. God will direct you.
  4. Pray together with others agreeing for what you ask.
  5. Start promptly at 5 am and finish at 7. Get to bed by 10 p.m. Take a 15-minute nap during the day. Stay alert!
  6. Keep a daily prayer log of requests and answers. E-mail us your Final Prayer Summery and Evaluation.
